Mike Huckabee Interview

For the seventh year, a local non-profit organization hosts a unique fundraiser featuring a high-profile politician. More than 800 people gathered at the Midland Horseshoe for an event to benefit "Centers for Children and Families". The original guest was Tony Snow. But in a sad turn of events, snow passed away several weeks ago. His good friend former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee agreed to step in and gave a rousing speech about his life and his experience in this year's presidential primary. Governor Mike Huckabee burst onto the political scene last year and ended up as the last man standing in the republican primary next to senator john McCain. We sat down with Huckabee today to find out what he thinks about the presidential race. Huckabee is often mentioned as a possible vice presidential candidate with McCain. He says the difference between the two candidates is clear. Huckabee has an interesting background. He's a former Baptist preacher, a musician and lost 110-pounds after he learned he had type two diabetes. He's published several books on these topics. And he says his political career is far from over.
